Tyler Ashley

Tyler joined our team in September of 2016 and is responsible for prospect generation and evaluation.

Prior to his current position, Tyler served as a Senior Geologist for Emkey Companies, LLC in Dallas, Texas, where he was responsible for prospect evaluation and geologic operations in the Delaware Basin and Northwest Shelf of southeast New Mexico. Prior to Emkey, Tyler was part of the Matador Resources geoscience team in Dallas, Texas, where he was primarily focused on the evaluation and high-grading of acreage for the unconventional Bone Spring and Wolfcamp Shale resource play in the Delaware and Midland Basins. Tyler began his career working for Larance Engineering in Wichita Falls, Texas gaining valuable knowledge and operational experience developing legacy fields on the Eastern Shelf of the Midland Basin and conventional carbonate reservoirs in the Fort Worth Basin. 

Tyler received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oklahoma State University in 2006, Bachelor of Science in Geology from Midwestern State University 2009, and a Master of Science in Geology from Texas Christian University in 2014.
